About the GAA Museum

Collecting, Preserving and Presenting GAA Heritage


The GAA Museum houses a vast collection that illustrates the development of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.  The collection covers the period from the foundation of the GAA in 1884 to the present day and represents local, national and international aspects of the Association. 

Significant objects and collections include the original Sam Maguire and Liam Mac Carthy Cups, the Christy Ring Collection, the Jack Lynch Collection and the Davin Collection.
