Family Funzone Reopens at Croke Park

8th July 2013

This year, the Leinster Football Championship finals on the 14th of July, will see the return of the Family Funzone to Croke Park. Carrying on from the success of last year, the Family Funzone will offer a wide range of activities and games for the young, and young at heart.

Located in the Davin stand car park beside the stadium, the Funzone will open at 11am and run right through until 1.30pm, just before the throw-in to the senior game. Big match preview will take place from 12noon with special guests, former footballing greats, Dublin's Darren Magee and Meath's Anthony Moyles.

The Family Funzone, which will take place at Croke Park throughout the GAA Championship Season, will include activities such as:

  • Sam Maguire Cup
  • Croke Park/GAA Skills Game Cage
  • Ulsterbank Target Goals
  • Novelty Games
  • Meet & Greets with former legends of the game
  • GAA Photobooth
  • Leinster GAA inflatable pitch & target goals.
  • Climbing Wall
  • Opel Kit for Clubs
  • Balloon Modellers & Face Painters.

Access to the funzone will be off the North Circular Road, just beyond Gill’s corner. Activities in the Family Funzone are free of charge and accessible by all match day ticket holders.
