GAA Museum Visit

A visit to the GAA Museum serves to compliment your stadium tour as you learn about the history of Ireland's national games.  The museum traces the birth and growth of the GAA at home and abroad and its unique role in the national political and cultural revival in Ireland.  Recently refurbished, the museum houses a vast collection, including hurleys, jerseys, trophies, medals, programmes and banners, that illustrate the development of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.

During a class visit to the GAA Museum pupils can avail of a hands-on Cú Chulainn History Workshop (maximum 30 pupils) or spend their time completing specially designed activity sheets. Children will also be offered an opportunity to test their skills in hurling and Gaelic football in the interactive games area on the museum’s first floor.....see how fast they can react, test their soloing skills and practice the art of the high catch!

The GAA Museum is fully wheelchair accessible.
