Museum Opening Arrangements for Sunday 8th July

2nd July 2012

On Sunday 8th July Croke Park will host the GAA Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Finals.

At 14.00, the hurlers of Dublin and Wexford will contest the minor final.  This will be followed at 16.00 by the senior final featuring current holders and All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny against Galway.

The GAA Museum will be open from 13.00 - 16.30, with access restricted to Cusack Stand ticket-holders. Stadium tours will not take place, but will resume as normal on Monday 9th July.

If you are going to Croke Park on Sunday, why not visit the refurbished GAA Museum, home to the original Liam MacCarthy and Sam Maguire Cups.  The museum has just opened a new exhibition GAA - A Global  Phenomenon - focusing on the history and development of the GAA overseas.

A special match day admission rate - new for 2012! - applies for a museum visit on match days.  Up to two children can enjoy free museum admission with every paying adult.
