Match Day Madness at the GAA Museum

4th August 2011

The GAA All-Ireland Championship season is in full swing and match day madness hits the GAA Museum in Croke Park this weekend with a whole host of special museum activities.

If you are heading to Croke Park this weekend to support your team in its bid for All-Ireland glory, why not include a visit to the recently-refurbished GAA Museum located under the Cusack Stand.

The museum will be open to match patrons from 12.15 - 18.00 on Sunday.

In the museum's activity room,  fans can make match headbands or match mascots in county colours. On Sunday, John Torpey will be on hand to give special demonstrations on the art of hurley making.

A discount rate of admission applies for a museum visit on match days.

Don't forget our match day tours of Croke Park Stadium, offering fans a unique glimpse of what goes on in the stadium in the hours before stiles open on a big match day!  On Sunday, the tour departs at 11.00 and price includes a ticket to the match - find out more.
