NISO Award 2011

Croke Park won the inaugural National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) Sport & Leisure Award.  It is the third consecutive year that the stadium has won a major Category 1 NISO award. These honours recognise organisations that have achieved high standards in safety and are deemed the best within their business category. 

Employer Award 2010

Croke Park wins  Employer Award from Employ Ability "in recognition of the ongoing contribution to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace".

Stadium Business Award 2010

Croke Park Stadium win the Safety Award for training and management “…the record speaks for itself... 2008/2009 had over 4 million visitors without major issues."

The winners of the Stadium Business Awards were announced on the 18th June 2010. These are the first awards to recognise achievements in the stadium industry, with all aspects of the international stadium and sports venue sector covered. 

 

O2 Ability Award 2010

Croke Park successfully participated in the O2 Ability Awards 2010 programme and achieved the status of “Ability Company” in the area of Best Practice: Customer Service. Croke Park was shortlisted for a Category O2 Ability Award in Customer Service based on the high standard of their application form, which was verified by the Kanchi and PricewaterhouseCoopers Assessment team through an onsite assessment as part of the O2 Ability Awards 2010 programme.  

NISO President’s Category Award 2010

For the second consecutive year Croke Park has been awarded a prestigious NISO (National Irish Safety Organisation Presidents Award. In recognition of significant  contributions to workplace health  and  safety demonstrated through  strong management leadership and influencing of stakeholders,  suppliers and contractors, Croke Park has won the NISO President's Award for the overall best small company, less than 50 employees. This award illustrates the dedication of a relatively small team to Health and Safety in the workplace.

NISO Highly Commended Award 2008

Organisations achieving Highly Commended status must have demonstrated the existence of a health and safety management system that has been tailored to the needs of the organisation and have provided substantial documentary evidence of a proactive system for continuous review and improvement. 

NISO Merit Award 2007

Organisations achieving Merit status must have demonstrated in their entry that the core elements of a health and safety management system are in place and provide sufficient evidence to suggest such systems are operational.
