Páirc an Chrócaigh Teoranta (PCT) is responsible for the management and operation of Croke Park Stadium, Irelands largest stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).

The role of the stadium management company is to ensure that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience at the 82,300 capacity venue. Croke Park hosts a calendar of GAA fixtures, concerts and other sports and the complex also features the GAA Museum and the Croke Park Conference Centre.

The stadium management company is committed to providing a safe environment for staff, contractors and visitors to the stadium, and to its responsibilities as a member of the local community. PCT recognise that the stadium and its associated events and activities have an impact on the environment and is committed to identifying and minimising these impacts. The stadium is implementing an Environmental Management System to the internationally recognised standard - ISO 14001 – and is committed to:

• Fulfilling all legal and regulatory environmental requirements and regularly evaluating compliance with such requirements;
• The prevention of pollution by managing stadium events and activities in an environmentally responsible manner;
• Setting and achieving environmental objectives and targets that ensure continual improvement in environmental management at the stadium;
• Promoting efficient energy management and utilisation;
• Monitoring water usage and encouraging water conservation;
• Managing waste and developing recycling initiatives within the stadium;
• Communicating this policy and relevant environmental procedures to staff, contractors and suppliers and promoting the adoption of environmentally sound practices by suppliers and contractors.

Compliance with this policy will be regularly evaluated and reported to PCT Management by the Environmental Management Group.
