Opening Hours

The GAA Museum is open throughout the year.

January - May and September - December
Monday - Saturday: 09.30 - 17.00
Sunday & Bank Holiday: 10.30 - 17.00

June - August
Monday - Saturday: 09.30 - 18.00
Sunday & Bank Holiday: 09.30 - 17.00

Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the museum. 

Please note that from 18th - 29th July, there is no access to the museum for pedestrians, cars or coaches via St. Joseph's Avenue.  Find out more. 

 

Match Days

On match days, the GAA Museum usually opens at the same time as the turnstiles.  

 

August Bank Holiday Weekend 2015

Saturday 1st August
Due to matches taking place in Croke Park, there will be alterations to the museum's opening hours and tour schedule.  
Museum open from 09.30 - 14.30 with guided stadium tours at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00 and 13.00.   Etihad Skyline tours at 10.30 and 11.30. 

The museum will close at 14.30 and re-open for match day patrons from 15.00 -16.00.

Sunday 2nd August
Croke Park will host two All-Ireland football quarter-finals with Kerry v Kildare and Dublin v Fermanagh.  The GAA Museum will be open from 12.30 - 16.30 with FREE admission for match patrons. 

A Backstage Match Day Stadium Tour takes place at 11.00.

Monday 3rd August
The museum will be open from 09.30 - 17.00 with stadium tours at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00.
