The GAA Museum will once again open its doors for Culture Night 2013 on Friday 20th September.
Museums, galleries, churches, historic houses, artists’ studios and cultural centres will open their doors late into the evening welcoming people of all ages to taste and sample their cultural delights for free on the evening.
Croke Park is Ireland’s largest and most significant sporting arena. Join us on a free stadium tour and immerse yourself in our sporting and cultural heritage. Visit the newly-refurbished GAA Museum, including the Interactive Skills Zone and experience the craft of hurley-making with a live demonstration from master craftsman John Torpey.
As part of Culture Night 2013, there will be free guided tours of Croke Park Stadium every 15 minutes from 17.00 – 21.00 on Friday 20th September.
